1801 Grille will be sponsoring Alive After Five at Foundation Square on May 26, June 2 and June 9. Attendees can expect live music from local favorites and plenty of food selections from 1801 Grille, including BBQ pork and brisket sliders and beer specials from featured craft breweries. In addition, 1801 Grille’s patio and bar, located just steps from Foundation Square, will be open for attendees to indulge in more extensive beverage and food offerings. Even though Tom Sasser already owned five restaurants in the Carolinas when he opened 1801 Grille at USC’s 650 Lincoln complex last month, he and chef Jason Bruner didn’t transfer menus from his group’s other eateries. Instead, the two created a menu full of items that can only be found at 1801.
